At Stepping Stones, the staff have weekly planning meetings to ensure we cover a well-balanced curriculum, focusing on each child’s learning development. All our planning are in accordance to the government guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Planning Our Curriculum

Our plans include three prime areas of learning:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Communication and Language
• Physical Development

Along with four specific areas of learning:
• Literacy
• Mathematics
• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts and Design

With these in mind and with the input of parents and the children themselves, we can adapt our planning to suit each individual child, effectively supporting each stage of their learning and development.
